Auction

  1. Home
  2. Auction

Thank you for your interest in contributing to our NFB Northern Virginia Homecoming and Auction Fundraiser. Money collected will be donated to our local chapters to support important programs and advocacy efforts for blind and low vision students, seniors, and working age adults.
Through this form, we are gathering suggested auction items. The Action Auction team will review each item and determine if the item is appropriate for
the auction.

The live auction event will be held:

  • Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025
  • Location: Lyon Village Community House in Arlington Virginia.

the Action Auction Team will have items available on display during the auction and someone will be available to describe items. We will conduct the auction as a live event so individuals who cannot attend will need to find a proxy to bid on their behalf.
Periodically as the event approaches, a listing of auction items will be distributed via email to chapter lists.

Please provide a textual description of the item that clearly describes what it is. Remember local gift certificates are fine, but not everyone will know the location, so please provide some description.
As the individual donating this item, you will be responsible for getting the item to the June 21 event in Arlington. If you are unable to attend in person, perhaps a member from your chapter can help with delivery of the item to the June 21 event. If the item is an experience, nothing needs to be available at the meeting.
All winners must pay at the event or work out details in advance with the auctioneers. Payment can be made by check, cash or debit or credit card.
Checks should be made to NFB of Virginia.

If you have any questions, please contact Jacki Brown at: jacquelinestonebrown@comcast.net.
